Team-Based Resource Collection

In Cosmic Team Quest, two teams—red and blue—compete in a large 2D arena with realistic gravity. The objective is to collect multicolored air gems scattered across space and bring them back to your home base. Each delivered gem adds to your team's oxygen total, and the team with the most air when the round ends wins. Success depends on coordination, as players must balance collecting gems, defending teammates, and disrupting opponents.

Ship Handling and Combat

Players control a spaceship using standard controls to accelerate, turn, and fire. The top-down view and realistic space physics mean momentum matters—turning and stopping require planning. Ships have a health meter that can be restored by collecting special objects in the arena. Shots deal random damage to opponents, but they also affect friendly ships, so careful aim is crucial. When a ship is disabled, the player waits briefly before respawning, and any undelivered air gems drop for anyone to pick up.

Scoring and Roles

Performance is tracked individually and for the team. Extra points and rewards go to players who deliver the most air, tag the most opponents, or avoid being disabled the longest. This encourages varied playstyles: some players focus on resource delivery, others on attacking or defending. Teams often split into roles like attackers and resource managers to improve efficiency. A minimap helps track all players, and statistics can be viewed during gameplay to monitor progress.
