Building Your Ship from Scrap

Every ship in Star Constructor Online Arena starts as a basic frame. You improve it by collecting modules dropped by destroyed enemies. Defeating a command module releases its parts, which you can attach by clicking. This creates a direct loop: fight, salvage, rebuild, repeat. The system rewards players who can quickly judge which dropped modules are worth grabbing and where to attach them for the best effect.

Combat and the Pirate Risk

Combat mixes piloting and engineering. You fly with keyboard controls, aim and shoot at enemy ships, and manage your ship's layout. The game includes both computer-controlled drones and other players. Attacking another player can flag you as a pirate, making you a target for others. That risk adds a layer of decision-making: every aggressive move has a potential consequence in the same session.

Crafting and Module Variety

Beyond scavenging, a crafting system lets you create advanced modules such as repair beams and side boosters. These expand your tactical options. A repair beam supports a more durable, defensive build, while side boosters improve mobility. Balancing offense and defense matters because a well-armored ship with solid weapons can handle both drones and player threats. Your module choices effectively define your role in a fight.

Team Play and Visual Clarity

The game supports squad play, so you can team up with friends for coordinated battles. In team modes, sharing a plan and covering each other's weaknesses becomes as important as individual piloting. The wireframe art style keeps the screen readable during fast-paced fights. Clean lines and simple shapes make it easier to track enemies, projectiles, and dropped modules without visual clutter.
