Dropping and Merging Numbers

Mergis Number Merge Puzzle gives you one numbered creature at a time. Tapping or clicking a vertical lane drops that creature into the chosen column. When two or more touching creatures share the same number, they combine into a single creature with a higher number, and points are awarded for the merge. The board fills from the bottom up, so each drop changes which numbers sit next to each other.

Chain Reactions and Board Control

The scoring system rewards foresight rather than speed. Aligning several matching numbers before a drop can trigger a chain reaction: one merge creates a new number that immediately touches another match, clearing more space and adding more points. Keeping lanes balanced matters because a single tall column limits where future creatures can land. Power-ups appear during play and offer a way to manage a crowded board when ordinary drops are not enough.

Difficulty, Pace, and Audience

Difficulty scales gradually, so the board becomes more demanding as you improve. There are no time limits, which lets players study the grid and consider multiple placements before acting. The cute creature designs and absence of inappropriate material make the game suitable for children and families, while the number-matching and basic strategy elements give older players a reason to keep refining their approach.
